1929 Indian Motorcycle Army

This is a drawing of a 1929 Indian Motorcycle known as the 101 Scout model. Produced from 1928 to 1931, it has been called the best Indian motorcycle ever made. Noted for its handling, it was popular among racers, hillclimbers and trick riders. It was expensive to produce and had a small profit margin, so the economic hardship of the Great Depression forced Indian to discontinue the 101 Scout.
